Well, my wife tested positive for HD in May of 2005.  She is only 30 years old and has shown symptoms for two years prior to her test.  We have really been living everyday like it is our last and what a great time we are having.  First thing we did was jump on a plane and head to Ireland.  What an incredible place to go if you ever want to travel.  This year we bought a Honda Goldwing and are planning a lot of traveling this summer.  Can't wait to get it on the Hoop-a-Thon and raise some money to knock this Disease out once and for all.  Keep the faith, keep the hope and really live life to your fullest.  There is not a day when I wake up that I don't tell my wife how much I love her.  Returning from Iraq in 2004 and then going through this with my High School sweatheart was tough, but I would not change my partner for the world.  We love, we live, and we hope that someday no child or adult will ever have to worry about HD again.

How wonderfully encouraging! I am working very hard to get to this point. My husband who is 43 has HD and is symptomatic. It is still quite a struggle balancing what we need to, with a family and everyday life, and remembering to enjoy each and everyday living it to the fullest. I pray every day that a cure is found.

Hi all

Similar situation.  I tested positive about 12 years ago.   I don't know if I have symptoms yet but I sure imagine them 24/7.

Wonder what will be worse, getting sick, or worrying everyday that I am...

Any decent ssupport groups for people in our situation - tested positive and presymptomatic?  In Boston?
